Things must do in Beijing

-  Hike on the Great Wall to be a "real man" (according to Chairman Mao).

-   Visit the Forbidden City to see the spectacular ancient architectural complex.

-   Take a bike ride in the hutongs (narrow alleys) to experience Beijing's traditional culture.

-   Eat Peeking Duck.

The Great Wall --- Mutianyu

 

Feature: It is one of the best-preserved sections. The surrounding natural scenery is breath-taking, especially in October, leaves turn red or yellow, touching the mountain tops with gold. First Lady Michelle Obama has visited it.

Forbidden City

Features: It’s the largest imperial palace in the world. It was the imperial palace of China for 492 years (1420–1912) and the home of 24 emperors — 14 of the Ming dynasty and 10 of the Qing dynasty. You can experience traditional Chinese culture when you visiting it.
