Compared with mysterious 318 road and thrilling Duku Road, it may not as popular as them, but this does not mean that it is worse than other places.

Although this road is off the beaten track, it hides a fascinating scenery.

It has the iconic scenic spots of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet. You can see almost all the amazing landscapes that you can think of on this road.

it is regarded as a "pilgrimage road" by off-road enthusiasts.

Every step on this road is full of surprises and unknown stories, and its name is very memorable.

                                             Story about this road

This road was first discovered by the Austrian-American explorer Joseph Rock in 1928.

When he first discovered this road, he was attracted by the beauty of here.

Later, he came to China repeatedly, re-walking this road, and seriously feeling the plants and humanities here.

He loves here so much, even when he was seriously ill, he still said:

I would rather die on the beautiful mountain than stay alone in a ward with white walls, waiting for God's call.

So it can be seen how charming this road is.

 Old town of Lijiang

On this road, you can not only find Luka Lake, Daocheng county, but also the old town of Lijiang...

Along the way, you can not only feel the romance of the wind, the snow and the moon, but also see the mountains, the forests and the sea, and the ancient villages and towns tell you the long history...

           The most beautiful ancient village---- Danba County

Starting from Chengdu, we will first come to the famous Danba County.

It was once rated as the first of the six most beautiful ancient towns and villages in China by National Geographic of China.

The Tibetan villages in Danba are unique, and houses with uniform styles and exquisite shapes are scattered in the mountains.

The surrounding lush green trees echo with it, coupled with the white snow-capped mountains and clear streams in the distance, it is simply an idyllic scenery.

If you come here in the morning, you will see the shocking scene of the entire village surrounded by fog. From a distance, it is just like a fairyland.

                       Paradise for Photographers --- Xindu Bridge

Leaving the beautiful Danba County, the next stop is Xindu bridge, known as the "photographer's paradise".

Xindu Bridge is not a real bridge, it is actually the name of a town.

It is located at the north-south fork of the 318 Sichuan-Tibet line, so the scenery can be imagined.

It looks just as wonderland that appears perfectly as painting. 

The huge grasslands, wonderful lights, winding streams, mountain groups and poplar trees with golden leaves, and more can be seen here. The grassland is filled with cattle.

Overall, Xindu Bridge is just like heaven.

                                                     Litang County

Passing by Ya River you will arrive at the "hidden paradise"-Litang.

Here, if it were not for the distant mountains and valleys, you would really think that you came to the Hulunbuir prairie.

Rich grasslands flecked with nomad encampments stretch away from the dizzyingly high town of Litang  and, off in the hazy distance, hills pile upon hills and buckle up into soaring mountain peaks. 

Both the scenery and the altitude will leave you breathless, and getting out to see it

The 6th Dalai Lama composed poems and songs, said: 

White crane lend me your wings. I will not fly far. From Lithang I shall return.
